OhPLS understands that the Premier League is looking to actually commit to a two-week winter break as of the 2020 season… in February.
It’s rumoured that the bizarre proposal will stagger Premier League games across different weekends to allow two groups of teams to have alternative February breaks.
To be fair, this 13-day break won’t feel unlike a shitty cup weekend or International break.
The changes will be for the Premier league ONLY with the EFL refusing to introduce such a drab idea to their 46-game calendar.
This should affect PLS4, but will not affect PLS3.
